Grupo Lucci’s social commitment is reflected and funnelled through the work of Fundación Vicente Lucci. The Foundation focuses on generating social capital through the implementation of several training programmes and strategic institutional alliances that contribute to the sustainable and equitable development of the rural communities of Northern Argentina, benefiting more than 10,000 people, including children, youngsters and adults.

ABOUT US

Started in 2003, the Foundation aims at empowering the rural communities of the region and answering some of their social and educational needs, promoting the collective building of lasting and sustainable training processes.

For more than 15 years, we have worked along public and private institutions in the development of educational programmes to complement formal education, offering tools for the labour-market integration of youngsters (such as training courses and grants), and coordinating entrepreneurship programmes for rural producers.

Our Mission

To Educate in Values in order to train enterprising and responsible citizens. Through Education, we generate a work-plan to impact our communities so that our efforts should later translate as social capital gains.

To foster and promote people’s capabilities so that they may access a better future, be better-prepared and integrated, and actively participate in their own personal development and that of their culture and their community.

We work together with prestigious organisations such as public and private universities, companies, NGOs, ministries, among others, to respond to the communities’ institutional and social needs.

Campaign for the Prevention of Child Labour in Rural Production

We develop prevention and awareness campaigns around the issue. The committee comprises the National Commission for the Eradication of Child Labour (CONAETI), state institutions, civil-society organisations and companies seeking to address this issue.

Professionalization and Solidary Practices for Young Students

We bring future professionals to rural communities, facilitating the creation of institutional connections and providing interns with training, coordination, and transport.

We Contribute to the Establishment and Consolidation of Sustainable Entrepreneur

We promote the socio-economic development of the region by generating synergies between the institutions that belong to the Ecosystem, fostering entrepreneurship in a collaborative and articulated way, and working with the producers on initiatives that contribute to the establishment and consolidation of sustainable enterprises.

We Promote Technological Development in Rural Educational

We promote technological knowledge and integration, seeking to bridge the digital gap in rural schools, understanding education and information as tools of great cultural value and of social and labour inclusion.
