Vicente Lucci Computer Laboratory Inauguration at Colegio Giosué Carducci

In a moving ceremony, the Computer Laboratory was inaugurated at Colegio Giosué Carducci in the city of Tucumán. The ceremony was attended by headteachers and representatives of Fundación Vicente Lucci and Grupo Lucci. At the ceremony, there was a significant review about Vicente Lucci’s inspiring leading figure and his close relation with Sociedad Dante Alighieri. In addition, his son, Daniel Lucci, President of Fundación Vicente Lucci, received sincere thanks for his generous donation.

Committed to a better future

Daniel Lucci was recognised by the institution and said:

“We know about the great positive impact this institution has in the community, mainly in terms of education. We know that technology plays a key role in modern learning and in preparing students for a promising future. That is why we believe this donation will be of significant help to Sociedad Dante Alighieri and Colegio Giosué Carducci’s mission by providing students with the necessary tools for their personal and academic training.”

The opening ceremony included some important protocol moments such as a speech given by Professor Claudia Brito, President of Sociedad Dante Alighieri, where she talked about Sociedad Dante Alighieri’s relation with Vicente Lucci and work. She also said:

“The new laboratory, which was named after Mr. Vicente Lucci, is more than just a set of computers and technological devices. It is a space that symbolises our commitment to quality education and our vision, which focuses on preparing our students for the future and it is part of a big project which today we start to materialise.”

Fostering the digital inclusion of the young people from Tucumán

At the end of the ceremony, Daniel Lucci highlighted the importance of contributing to the development of young people’s skills and its future impact as part of Fundación Vicente Lucci’s commitment:

“In an increasingly digitalised world, access to computer equipment is crucial in order to develop key skills and promote an inclusive and up-to-date learning environment. We are convinced that this equipment is really useful in their educational activities and it will help strengthen the values of excellence and commitment which characterise the institution.”
