Reforestation and Environmental Education: Over 9,300 Trees Planted Through the Sowing Life Program

Over 9,300 trees have been planted through the Sowing Life program, promoting reforestation and environmental education in northwestern Argentina.

Sowing Life is Fundación Vicente Lucci’s reforestation program, created to generate a tangible environmental impact through education, community involvement, and sustained action in the region. For the past four years, the program has promoted the planting of trees grown in Fundación Vicente Lucci’s own nursery, located in San Rafael orchard (Lules), which supplies reforestation initiatives in communities in northwestern Argentina. Between 2022 and 2025, the Sowing Life program enabled the planting of 9,324 native trees in schools, communities, and public areas, consolidating a comprehensive reforestation strategy that promotes biodiversity, sustainable development, and the creation of greener environments.

Sustained Growth in Reforestation Efforts

The number of trees planted as part of the Sowing Life program reflects the program’s growth and continuity year after year:

NUMBER OF TREES PER YEAR

These reforestation efforts take place mainly between August and November—a key planting season—and are carried out in collaboration with educational institutions and local members of the community.

Educate, Act, and Reforest: The Three Pillars of the Program

Sowing Life is organized around three complementary pillarseducate, act, and reforest—which are implemented through collaboration between schools and communities within Grupo Lucci’s area of influence, with support from the company’s technical teams. Through this joint effort, the program engages students graduating from primary and secondary school in tangible reforestation initiatives, combining tree planting with environmental awareness activities focused on caring for the environment and preserving biodiversity.

These activities are carried out with the support of agricultural engineers and orchard managers, who ensure proper site preparation and the appropriate allocation of areas designated for reforestation in schools and communities, strengthening an initiative that goes beyond the planting day and promotes an active understanding of the value of trees as an essential part of the ecosystem and their role in addressing climate change.

Technical Work and Planning for Responsible Reforestation

Every reforestation effort is carried out in a planned and responsible manner. Thanks to the collaborative work with agricultural engineers and orchard managers from Citrusvil and Agroganadera del NOA, we ensure proper site preparation and the appropriate allocation of space designated for reforestation in schools and public areas, thereby guaranteeing the growth and sustainability of the planted trees.

A commitment that Continues to Grow

Through the Sowing Life program, we reaffirm our commitment to reforestation, environmental education, and the construction of a collective consciousness focused on caring for the planet. Every tree planted represents a concrete step toward a more sustainable future and an invitation to continue sowing life alongside future generations.
