Urban Reforestation in Parque 9 de Julio: A Joint Initiative for the Environment in Tucumán

At Parque 9 de Julio in San Miguel de Tucumán, Fundación Vicente Lucci organized an urban reforestation initiative in collaboration with volunteers and San Miguel de Tucumán City Council.

In October 2025, as part of the International Day Against Climate Change, Fundación Vicente Lucci carried out a new urban reforestation initiative in Parque 9 de Julio through the Sowing Life program, in collaboration with San Miguel de Tucumán City Council.

The initiative was part of a series of actions aimed at promoting more sustainable urban environments and raising awareness about the importance of reforestation as a key tool in addressing current environmental challenges.

During the event, we donated 300 native trees, 60 of which were planted in Parque 9 de Julio with the active participation of volunteers and students. The activity combined tree planting with environmental awareness-raising efforts, strengthening the connection between the community, environmental care, and collective commitment to addressing climate change.

This action joins the initiatives that Fundación Vicente Lucci promotes through the Sowing Life program, reaffirming our commitment to reforestation, environmental education, and the creation of greener and more resilient cities.

We show you a summary of the day here.
